Rahul Patel focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic corporate transactions. He is co-chair of the firm’s Global Private Equity/M&A practice. Rahul represents leading companies and private equity funds such as General Electric, HD Supply, H.I.G. Capital, Kemira Chemicals, Mahindra & Mahindra, Oxford Industries, Roper Technologies, SunTrust Banks, the Avantha Group, T.V. Asia and UPS in a broad range of merger and acquisition, joint venture, and other control and non-control transactions. A significant portion of Rahul’s corporate work focuses on cross-border transactions.

Mr. Patel was appointed by the Florida governor (and confirmed by the Florida senate) to the University of Florida Board of Trustees. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Crawford & Company (NYSE), the Shands Jacksonville Medical Center, and the Westminster Schools.
