Philipp Girardet

Philipp Girardet, Chair of the European Competition Practice Group, advises on a broad range of EU and UK competition law issues, including complex merger and cartel matters. Philipp also has an active competition compliance and competition litigation practice across a wide spectrum of industry sectors, including e-commerce, financial services, consumer goods, pharma, telecoms and transport. He also has an active competition compliance and competition litigation practice, across a wide spectrum of industry sectors, including e-commerce, financial services, consumer goods, pharma, telecoms and transport. He also advises on UK criminal cartel offence matters. He was the Deputy Director of the Cartel Investigations division at the UK Competition Authority (then the Office of Fair Trading) and the Co-Chair of the Leniency Working Group of the European Competition Network (ECN) from 2005 to 2007.
