Péter Simon is a partner at CMS’s Budapest Office, heading the Energy, Projects and Construction practice in Hungary.
Péter has worked on various energy, infrastructure, industrial and other construction projects including the development and acquisition of power plants, petrochemical manufacturing units, and international gas transmission pipelines. Péter has negotiated several long-term electricity, gas and heat supply and off-take agreements. Péter has also worked on several projects advising clients on the development of the strategic storage of natural gas in Hungary. He has advised major global energy companies on the acquisition and development of both conventional and renewable energy projects.
