Penny serves as the Country Head for the United Kingdom and is a Partner in our International Financial Services Regulatory practice.
As the UK Country Head, Penny is committed to building upon our legacy of excellence focussing on a laser focus on the needs of our clients, our partners and our hugely talented teams. She collaborates closely with Emily Monastiriotis, our Managing Partner, and Senior Partner Julian Taylor.
Penny specialises in a wide range of UK and EU regulatory matters including being trusted adviser to a number of Boards, the C suite and senior General Counsel on a range of their issues including governance, conduct risk and culture. Penny has advised extensively on the FCA Consumer Duty and the forthcoming European retail investment strategy and its impact across investment bank and asset manager manufacturers, to private bank and wealth distributors and mass retail facing organisations.
Previously, Penny was the Head of our International Financial Services Regulatory team, where she was the driving force behind the team’s success. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping our firm's regulatory practice and delivering exceptional results for our clients. Penny also chaired the Firm’s Remuneration Committee and served a three-year term. Additionally, she established our Strategic Advisory Council – a shadow “executive” board designed to provide a forum for our next generation of talent to influence and advise on strategic decision-making, while also acting as an ideas factory and sounding board for senior management.
