Pedro Nicholson is a partner at Beccar Varela, where he heads the Real Estate & Hospitality Department.
His practice areas include real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial law in general. He has vast experience in hospitality, tourism, and corporate finance.
He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association. He is Co-Chair of the Real Estate Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Buenos Aires (AmCham), member of the Executive Committee at the Housing Entrepreneurs Association, Officer of the Real Estate Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), Officer of the Latin American Law Committee of the International Council of Shopping Centers and former President of the Alumni Association of the Real Estate Business Center of the Universidad de San Andrés.
Pedro is a lawyer who graduated from Universidad Católica Argentina (1991). He obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA, 1994). He also obtained a post-graduate degree in Real Estate Transactions (2006) and a post-graduate degree in Hotel Investments (2009) from the Universidad de San Andrés (2009) He worked as a foreign associate at Hogan & Hartson (USA, 1995).
He speaks Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
