Federico Sosa is a partner at the firm, having joined Beccar Varela in 2002.

His practice areas include complex litigation, class actions, consumer law, insolvency, and bankruptcy. He also has broad experience in corporate legal advice related to distribution and sales representative contracts.

Federico has been in the litigation area for more than ten years. He was involved in various litigation proceedings related to insolvency, bankruptcy, corporate, contract, and banking issues. He has represented banks and other national and international entities in insolvency and bankruptcy procedures, guarantees enforcement, and all kinds of restructuring proceedings.

He is also in charge of defending national and international clients (such as banks, insurance companies, financial entities, laboratories, and other service providers) in different class actions related to diverse legal matters.

He is a member of the Buenos Aires Public Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

Personal

Federico obtained his law degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (2003) and obtained his Master's in Corporate Law from Universidad Austral (2008). His thesis obtained the highest qualification and was published in “Revista Argentina de Derecho Empresario” (IJ Editores, Number 14, May 2015).
