Pedro’s practice is mainly focused on banking, corporate and gaming law, employment law, litigation and conveyancing.
Pedro has extensive experience in litigation, having handled complex court cases, and is highly regarded in his banking and finance practice, having participated in international financial transactions, as well on secured syndicated loans. He has also broad experience in advising on major real estate projects and corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint-ventures, cross-border transactions, reorganizations and corporate governance. He has also extensive experience in gaming law, having been General Counsel of one of the major gaming operators in Macau during 2007-2008 and presently providing legal services to another major gaming operator in Macau.
Pedro is a Lawyer in Macau since 1989, and a local Private Notary since 1994.
Pedro was elected member of the Board of Directors of the Macau Lawyers Association in 1995, Vice-Chairman from 1995 to 1999 and from 2008 to 2010, and subsequently Chairman of the Lawyers Disciplinary Committee of Macau between 2010 and 2012.
