Paz brings more than twenty years’ experience, having worked at Uría and Ashurst before leading DLA Piper’s Employment practice in Spain, where she has spent the past few years of her career.
She has extensive experience in all aspects of Employment and Social Security law and is specialised in providing advice on the hiring of ordinary employees and senior managers, the carrying out of individual and collective dismissals, defending clients' interests before the Employment courts, collective negotiations, employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions and legal due diligences, etc.
She is particularly recognized by her expertise in the hospitality sector where she has carried out relevant RIFs as well as in the Insurance and Life Sciences sectors.
Paz is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars in employment matters, has contributed to several specialised publications and has also published several press articles on employment issues. She is praised by clients for her technical expertise and practical advice.
