Patricia is a Partner at Dentons Paz Horowitz with more than 20 years of experience in corporate, labor, and social security law. She currently leads the firm’s labor and social security team.

Patricia holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, a Master’s in Labor Law and International Social Security from the Central University of Ecuador, and a Master’s in Safety, Health, and Environment from the University of Huelva in Spain and the San Francisco de Quito University. This academic background allows her to provide the firm’s clients with added value through comprehensive advice in her areas of expertise.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Industries and Production and on the Board of the Ecuadorian Human Management Association (ADGHE). Patricia has extensive experience advising companies on compliance with labor and social security regulations, as well as representing clients in administrative and judicial proceedings.

She has implemented equality and non-discrimination policies across various industries and has promoted the adoption of Prevention Protocols for cases of harassment, discrimination, and violence. She is highly specialized in designing and delivering training programs on labor rights, and prevention of harassment and discrimination, to ensure employers’ compliance with labor obligations.
