Paola Pugliese

Paola Pugliese is a partner in Competition and Antitrust at Lefosse.

Paola Pugliese has over 20 years of experience in submitting large national and global transactions to antitrust approval, and has acted in landmark cartel cases and in complex anticompetitive conduct investigations. She has represented cases in various sectors of the economy, including aviation, financial market, packaging, petrochemicals, mining, and the pharmaceutical industry, among others. Paola is Chair of the Competition Commission at ICC Brasil, Vice Chair of the Competition Commission and Co-Chair of the Antitrust Sustainability Task Force at ICC Paris. She also is a member of Steering Committee of International Forum on Antitrust Regulation.

Holds a Master’s degree in Competition Law from the Albert Ludwigs Universität Freiburg, Germany, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
