Oriana Granato

Oriana is a Law Partner of EY and is Head of the firm’s Infrastructures and Project Finance team.

She has a strongly established experience in Infrastructure, Project Finance markets and energy, both in Italy and abroad providing legal assistance in all phases of Project Finance transactions (i.e. due diligence, transaction structuring, drafting, assistance in negotiation, signing and closing of finance documents).

Oriana has been involved in some of the most important infrastructures transactions in Italy, gaining significant experience in:

• the public-private partnership sector, having assisted primary domestic multi-utility companies in drafting, structuring and negotiating of PPP proposals in the following areas: (i) energy requalification of public building on EPC basis; (ii) electrification of public transport; (ii) construction and operation of waste to chemical plants; and

• M&A transactions in infrastructure and energy sector.

Oriana regularly publishes in various industry magazines. In recent years, she has written several articles on PPP for Il Sole24ore.

She is regularly involved in academic activities as a speaker, lecturing in masters and university course (i.e. Master in Interdisciplinary Approaches to Climate Change (University of Milan); Master in Accounting & Finance (Luiss Guido Carli University).

Partner Oriana Granato joined EY in 2018 after a 10+ year career at the firm of Gianni & Origoni where she became partner in 2016.

Prior to this she was an Associate in the Project Finance and Banking department at Allen & Overy.
