Daniele Caneva

Daniele Caneva is the EY Law Leader for Italy and Head of the Intellectual Property department at EY.

His practice focuses on advising national and international clients on a wide range of Intellectual Property matters in addition to assisting clients, from a strategic point of view, with portfolio management. He also has a wealth of experience working with clients on contentious matters in order to protect and defend their intellectual assets.

Clients include major domestic and international luxury and fashion, pharmaceutical, automotive, media, entertainment, publishing and software companies.

Daniele truly stands out for his initiative to better protect clients’ intellectual assets – both tangible and intangible – through the valorization and defence of know-how within the context of ‘Patent Box’ and a pioneering ‘Master Book’.

Also of note is his extensive experience assisting clients with industrial and intellectual property contracts - including the negotiation of complex agreements for the exploitation of patents and know-how.

Daniele Caneva is also specialized in advising clients on labelling and “Made in Italy”.
