Career

Oliver founded Euclid Law at the end of 2014. He had the vision to create a law firm that was highly specialist, extremely commercial and very close to its clients and their needs. This is what has been driving the Euclid Law ethos ever since: “We only do competition law and foreign direct investment – nothing else – and we do that extremely well.”

Over the years, his work has been recognised by Chambers and Legal 500 for expertise in both EU and Competition Law. He has also won numerous awards, including from GCR, ILO Client Choice and The Lawyer.

Being expert on all aspects of Competition Law and National Security/FDI, Oliver is a trusted advisor across a broad spectrum of sectors, with a particular focus on technology, transport, energy, and financial services. He also has strong interest in competition law and sustainability.

Oliver is a CEDR qualified mediator and has served as an expert witness in competition law arbitration. He is a visiting Professor at the University of Law and a former adviser to the UK House of Lords Select Committee on the Lisbon Treaty.
