He has an extraordinary track record working for domestic and international clients in complex corporate matters such as local and cross-border M&A, having participated in many of the most important cases during recent years. In addition to this, he has a remarkable expertise representing clients in multi-jurisdiction reorganizations and has participated successfully in insolvency proceedings.

Nicolás is an expert in associations and joint ventures, having drafted and negotiated contracts in wide-array of economic sectors.

Nicolás has a Law Degree from Universidad de los Andes (2002). He also has a Master's Degree in Economic Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (2015).

- Local legal counsel to Zelestra Corporación, S.A.U. in Colombia, Chile, and Peru in connection with the sale of its Latin American renewable energy business to Promigas S.A. E.S.P., a Colombian group listed on the Colombian Stock Exchange and active in the natural gas and renewable energy sectors in the region. Our advice included assisting with the internal due diligence process and providing local legal support to the client during the negotiation and execution of the transaction documents.

-Leading counsel to Sacyr in the sale of its entire stake in three 4G toll road projects in Colombia.

-Counsel to Circulate Capital LAC Growth GmbH in the investment for the 45% of the participation in Ambiental de Plásticos Recyclapet S.A.S.
