Career

Professor Nelson Mannrich has more than 50 years of experience in Labour Law and is widely regarded as one of Brazil’s leading scholars and practitioners in the field. Throughout his distinguished career, he has combined academic excellence with strategic legal practice, advising companies on complex and sensitive labour matters, particularly those involving workforce restructuring, outsourcing models, working time regulation, remuneration policies, executive dismissals and collective redundancies.

He is highly experienced in negotiations with trade unions and collective bargaining processes, including the management of sensitive labour relations scenarios such as strikes and collective disputes. His practice also includes strategic litigation before Brazil’s higher courts, notably the Superior Labour Court.

Professor Mannrich also acts as an arbitrator, expert witness and technical expert assistant in complex disputes involving labour and employment matters. In addition to his legal practice, he is a renowned speaker and lecturer and has played a significant role in the academic development of Labour Law in Brazil. He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Labour Law and of the Ibero-American Academy of Labour Law.
