More than 18 years of litigation experience, including the representation of taxpayers before the Brazilian Higher Courts, adding legal, economic and market data as amicus curiae in leading cases as the application of tax penalties, taxation of the maternity leave, one-third extra holiday pay and outsourcing. Breno leads relevant lawsuits regarding services tax and federal taxes, involving the main topics under discussion in Brazil. He is also at the forefront of innovative thesis and projects involving the technology for the monitoring of case law, awarded by other rankings, and public policies, due to his involvement in relevant academic research at FGV and Insper, in which he is also a Professor. In the tax advisory sphere, he is highly recognized for his work on social security issues, involving the efficient structuring of compensation programs from a labor and tax perspective. Former counselor of the Administrative Tax Appeals Council (CARF).

LL.M in Tax Law from the Università degli Studi di Bologna, in Bologna, Italy. Doctoral candidate in Law and Development at Escola de Direito de São Paulo da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV Direito SP).
