Milenko is one of the founding partners of Bertrand-Galindo Barrueto Barroilhet & Cia. and leads its Compliance, Sustainability and Communities practice. He is an expert in international law, human rights, indigenous law and corporate compliance, advising clients on the incorporation of national and international standards in human rights, indigenous matters, corporate compliance and sustainability

He was part of Chile’s Legal Team before The Hague International Court of Justice in the Maritime Dispute Case with Bolivia; and he has been a member of the Interamerican Judicial Committee of the Organization of American States. He has been legal advisor of the Presidency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and the National Human Rights Institute in Chile.

Milenko is a professor of International Law and Conflict of Laws at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has also lectured at the Diplomatic Academy of Chile and at Harvard Law School, where he has served as a visiting researcher.

He has published extensively and is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences. He is also a member of the Chilean Association of Private International Law.
