Founding partner of Bertrand-Galindo Barrueto Barroilhet & Cía. and head of its Mining, Energy and Natural Resources department. He was with Debevoise & Plimpton, New York (2012-2013).

Mr. Bertrand-Galindo has advised a broad range of local and foreign clients in his areas of expertise, participating in some of the most relevant legal matters occurred in Chile in such fields.

J.D. and Minor in Economic and Commercial Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Summa cum laude), 2006. LL.M. at Columbia Law School, New York (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar), 2013.

Member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and the Chilean-German Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Bertrand-Galindo is and has been a professor of mining law courses at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Law School. He has also been a researcher at the Columbia Vale Center. Mr. Bertrand-Galindo has made several publications and frequently participates in lectures and seminars concerning his practice areas.
