Mihyun Park

Ms. Mihyun Park, qualified in New York and Australia, is the head of our Global Energy & Infrastructure Practice Group. She possesses a wealth of experience advising prominent financiers and sponsors on the development, financing and acquisition of infrastructure and energy projects at various stages.

Before joining D&A, she worked at a top-tier global law firm and advised major international clients focusing on the energy and infrastructure sector. Drawing on her extensive experience and expertise, she has provided comprehensive legal advisory services on all legal and commercial aspects of these landmark cross-border projects. She has also advised on innovative and multi-sourced financing structures including export credit agencies (untied/tied/covered/direct) financing, senior, mezzanine and sponsor debts, green bonds and project bonds. She has also been involved in innovative project financing where the lenders were considering taking merchant risk, offtaker’s credit rating risk or short-term tenor offtake risk.

Ms. Park has successfully acquired substantial Korean clients such as Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd and is continuously working with Korean clients such as KDB Life Insurance, Kyowon Invest, Kyowon Life, Korea Exchange, and Kiwoom Investment Asset Management. In addition, she is currently serving as an expert counsel of Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND).
