Miguel Relaño assists insurers and policyholders with contentious claims in Spain as well as in other jurisdictions, regularly acting for them on civil proceedings. He is particularly active in insurance matters within the leisure, construction and healthcare sectors, with significant additional experience in product liability cases.
Miguel has over 20 years ‘experience in litigation, having led major disputes in all types of jurisdictions and Tribunals, including international arbitration. Clients describe him as “very approachable and customer-focused” always providing “contextual strategic advice."
Miguel has a double degree in Law and Business Administration. He is a regular lecturer on Tort Law in the Access to Advocacy Master of the Pontifical University Comillas (ICADE), where he is also member of ICADE's Cluster of Professors, and also regularly lectures in the International Law Master Programme at “Instituto Superior de Derecho y Empresa (ISDE)”. He has written numerous articles on insurance law and is a member of the Publishing Committee of the specialized law magazine “Responsabilidad Civil y Seguro".
