Miguel has technical knowledge and over 20 years of accredited experience in top-level firms, specializing in private clients and high net-worth individuals, taxation of real estate transactions, and tax aspects of M&A. Also, he has advised foreign investors in the planning and execution of investment projects in Spain, as well as inbound and outbound investment projects abroad.

He regularly advises on tax proceedings before Tax authorities and Courts.

Miguel is author of several articles in specialized publications and is a professor in the master’s degree in law at the School of Legal Practice of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Restructuring Course organized by Universidad de Loyola.

Miguel Bastida joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in 2022, as Partner of the Tax practice area in the Madrid office.
