Meiping Zhang

Career

Ms. Zhang Meiping is a first-class lawyer, a recipient of the Qingdao Municipal Government Special Allowance, Senior Equity partner of Beijing DHH Law Firm, Director of DHH (Qingdao )office, Vice President of the Qingdao Lawyers Association. She is a member of the Ministry of Justice's National Thousand Talents Program for Foreign-Related Lawyer, a Leading Talent in Foreign-Related Lawyers of the All China Lawyers Association, and one of the first batch of lawyers in Shandong Province specializing in both corporate law and foreign-related matters. Her areas of expertise include corporate law, cross-border investment and financing and M&A, international trade, disputes resolution. Clients are mainly state-owned enterprises and listed companies, and her services cover more than 20 countries and regions, involving more than ten industries, including rubber manufacturing, new materials, and marine engineering equipment. Many of her cases have been selected as typical cases by the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Shandong Provincial High People's Court, and the Qingdao Intermediate People's Court, and have received recognition as a "Belt and Road" dispute resolution case. She participates in the national-level research project "Cultivating New Liberal Arts Foreign-Related Legal Talents," and several of her papers won provincial and municipal awards, as well as first prize at the East China Lawyers Forum. She has been invited multiple times to lecture at the China University of Political Science, Law's foreign-related training programs and the Ministry of Justice's training programs, and has participated in foreign-related activities such as the RCEP Summit Forum, the Sino-German International Arbitration Forum, and the Hong Kong Department of Justice's training program for mainland legal professionals. She has been listed on LegalOne's "Top 100 Practitioners (Corporate and Commercial Law)" and received the "Best Lawyer of the Year" award in Shandong Province from the International Financial Law Review (IFLR1000) China Awards.
