Max is currently acting for war risks insurers in claims brought by lessors of Russian aircraft in the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, including claims brought under both “Contingent & Possessed” and “Operator” Policies. The litigation concerns consolidated claims worth a total of over US$12 billion.
