Maurício Zanoide de Moraes has over 30 years of experience as a Criminal Lawyer and is the founding partner of Zanoide, Braun & Castilho Advogados Associados (São Paulo/Brazil). Since 1989, Mr. Maurício has conducted a wide range of complex cases, mainly involving white-collar crime, environmental criminal law, cybercrime, and corporate investigations, all over Brazil and before Federal and State Courts, as well as the Supreme Court of Brazil.
He has been amongst the ranked individuals in Latin America by Chambers and Partners in the category "Dispute Resolution: White-Collar Crime" since 2013.
Mr. Maurício's experience is accompanied by his academic background. He has been a Professor of Criminal Procedural Law at the University of São Paulo Law School since 2005, reaching the rank of Full Professor in 2022. Mr. Maurício also is a Ph.D. in Criminal Procedural Law from the University of São Paulo Law School (1999).
