Matt facilitates the preservation of wealth for clients with clear advice and a personable service, he is a dedicated and collaborative tax and estate planning lawyer who supports UK and international individuals, families, and trustees.

His work includes the creation of wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney, and advising on related tax, structuring, and succession issues both in a personal and business context. He additionally has a wealth of knowledge in probate and estate administration.

Since joining Stevens & Bolton in 2015, Matt has been committed to understanding clients’ objectives and delivering clear, pragmatic solutions. His thoughtful and responsive approach ensures clients feel supported and confident in their decisions.

Matt aspires to strengthen relationships and enhance knowledge sharing, drawing on his natural skill for building connections. He is an active member of Stevens & Bolton’s International Practice Group, developing relationships with law firms around the world. Matt also leads the private client team’s precedents committee and supports the firm’s development programme for junior lawyers.

Matt serves as a director of the firm’s professional trust company, Stevens & Bolton Trustees Limited, contributing strategic oversight and independent guidance on the administration of trusts and estates in both contentious and non-contentious contexts.
