James joined Stevens & Bolton in 2007, having trained and qualified into the private client team at a City law firm. He became a partner at Stevens & Bolton in 2019.
James acts for both UK and non-UK domiciled individuals, families, executors and trustees, advising them on UK tax and inheritance/succession planning. He has a wealth of experience in drafting bespoke wills and complex trust structures and is experienced in dealing with matters with a cross-border element, particularly when it comes to the EU Succession Regulation.
James also advises clients on both establishing and administering employee benefit trusts.
