Mr. Paul represents a variety of clients in complex, high-stakes litigation. He has experience in civil-rights and municipal-liability litigation, having represented district attorney’s offices and prosecutors in numerous lawsuits. He has defended class actions and lawsuits against two of Louisiana’s largest electric utilities. He has represented clients such as hospitals, law firms, and a bio-pharmaceutical company in commercial disputes. He has represented lawyers and judges in litigation and matters involving ethics.
Career
Mr. Paul graduated from New York University magna cum laude with a B.A. in Chemistry and Mathematics. He earned his J.D. at the University of California, Berkeley serving as Articles Editor for the California Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. Paul joined the Firm following judicial clerkships in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
Mr. Paul is licensed to practice in Louisiana and California and is a member of the Federal Bar Association.
