Bryan C. Reuter focuses his practice on complex commercial, intellectual-property, and construction law, as well as alternative dispute resolution. He has substantial experience litigating a wide variety of disputes for his clients, including contract, class action, and closely-held businesses claims, construction disputes, and pharmaceutical, products-liability, fiduciary-duty, and intellectual property cases.
Career
Mr. Reuter understands the issues that both plaintiff and defense attorneys face. Besides representing attorneys, he has a diverse practice that includes, among others, complex commercial litigation, intellectual-property issues, tort claims, construction disputes, contract claims, class actions, closely-held business disputes, pharmaceutical cases, and products-liability and asbestos cases. He has had many engineering and management positions at Shell. He is a Court-appointed mediator for Hurricane Ida claims in the Eastern District of Louisiana and Jefferson, Orleans, and St. Charles Parishes. He has handled well over two hundred and fifty mediations.
Personal
Mr. Reuter has remained active both in law and in education. He is on the Adjunct Faculty of Loyola Law School, where he teaches Computer Law and Intellectual Property Seminar. In addition, he is a member of the Tulane Science and Engineering Board of Advisors and previously was the Chairman of the Tulane University Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board.
