Kathryn W. Munson practices in civil litigation and appeals, and also handles licensure and ethics matters involving physicians, lawyers and other professionals.
While in law school, Ms. Munson was the Senior Notes and Comments editor of the Tulane Law Review, a Member of the Moot Court Board, and was a Senior Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing program. After law school, she completed a federal clerkship with the Honorable Sul Ozerden of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Ms. Munson serves as a member of the Louisiana Supreme Court’s Committee on Bar Admissions as its Examiner for Constitutional Law.
Ms. Munson is Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Ethics Advisory Service Committee, a member of the LSBA’s Insurance Committee and Client Assistance Fund Committee, and serves on the Board of Directors of the FBA, New Orleans Chapter. Ms. Munson also is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Tulane University Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Department of Health Policy and Management, where she teaches Health Law & Regulation to its graduate students. She also is a Past President and Board Member of the New Orleans Association for Women Attorneys.
