Acknowledged as one of the leading antitrust and competition experts in Israel, Adv. Meridor provides expert counsel in major mergers and transaction deals in Israel. Recently, He led the appeal to the Competition Authority in the dramatic merger between Mizrahi Tefahot Bank and Union bank, in an unprecedented approval by the Competition Authority. This appeal set precedent, and paved the path for a change in the Israeli banking field.
He represents international corporations in their activity in Israel, in all aspects of competition, mergers and class action suits against international cartels. His clients are leading Israeli corporations, banks, telecommunication, pharmaceutical, energy, data and internet companies.
Adv. Meridor provides counsel on a wide range of antitrust and competition related matters, including mergers approvals, restrictive trade practices, abuse of monopoly power, transfer of information (whether in due diligence, participation in trade association activities or other commercial circumstances), as well as government investigations and sector inquiries.
