Marty Steinberg is known for handling "bet-the-company" cases and is counsel to more than 65 of the Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. As a top U.S. trial lawyer regarded for his work on national and international high-stakes disputes and critical business matters, his practice is dictated by his clients' needs, and includes commercial litigation, class actions, business torts, securities litigation, health care fraud and abuse, intellectual property, antitrust, and product liability.

Marty also works with clients on internal investigations, white collar defense, and compliance matters, helping them navigate the growing potential of internal and external threats to their businesses and reputations across the globe.

Knowledgeable of both government and law, Marty has served as Chief Counsel of the United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and Chief of the U.S. Department of Justice's Organized Crime Office in New York. He has also successfully served as a federal court-appointed Department of Justice Monitor and as Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Receiver in significant matters.

Marty has the distinction of being a fellow of both the American College of Trial Lawyers and of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has consistently been ranked by his peers as one of the best trial lawyers in Florida and the United States. Marty has received Chambers USA's highest rankings in the areas of general commercial litigation and antitrust since the publication's inaugural year in Florida and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for over 15 years. In 2014, Marty was named one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the nation by Benchmark Litigation. He was also awarded the American Jewish Committee's Judge Learned Hand Award, one of the highest honors given within the legal profession, recognizing his lifetime achievement and dedication to the practice of law.
