"Martin Barreiro has been with Baker McKenzie since 1991, and became a partner in 1997. He leads the Tax Department of Baker McKenzie Buenos Aires, is a member of the Steering Committee of the Firm´s Latin America Tax Practice Group, is Regional Chair of the Firm’s Latin America Wealth Management Practice Group and is a member of the Firm's Global Tax Wealth Management Steering Committee.

Martin is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association, the American Chamber of Commerce in Argentina, the Tax Sub-Committee and the Argentine Association of Taxation Studies.

Martin is experienced in various areas of tax law, and is highly regard both in Argentina and abroad for his tax expertise. His practice primarily focuses on general tax planning, international private banking, global tax minimization, transfer pricing and tax litigation. He also provides sound tax advice for mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Martin is a regular moderator and speaker in tax seminars and webinars, and regularly authors legal updates in both internal and many reputable external publications."
