"Vanina Caniza is a partner in Baker McKenzie’s Buenos Aires office and the Global Chair of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry Group. She advises a range of multinational, Latin America and Argentine clients in a variety of corporate and commercial law matters, with extensive experience in corporate compliance, commercial agreements, mergers & acquisitions and regulatory advice. Vanina has extensive legal and competitive technical knowledge in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device sectors. Of note, she completed postgraduate courses on Biotechnology (Universidad Torcuato di Tella) and on Health Law (Universidad de Buenos Aires). She also sits on the Latin America Corporate Compliance Steering Committee.

Vanina advises clients on transactional, general commercial, compliance and regulatory matters. She has advised many clients in M&A and licensing transactions and conducted several compliance investigations. She focuses her practice on the Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry and has extensive experience on regulatory law and specialized knowledge of legal issues related to the pharmaceutical, med tech and healthcare industry."
