Mark Simpson is a competition litigator who advises multinational clients on high-stakes antitrust matters, including complex investigations, follow-on damages claims, and class actions.
Mark represents clients in litigation before the English High Court and the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) as well as proceedings before the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), the European Commission and other global regulators. His practice focuses on defending cartel and abuse of dominance allegations, including some of the most significant collective actions and group litigation currently before the English courts.
He has extensive experience handling cross-border competition investigations and associated civil litigation, and is regularly involved in judicial review and appellate proceedings challenging regulatory decisions before UK and EU courts. Mark also advises on internal investigations, compliance, and crisis management, helping clients navigate regulatory risk and respond to enforcement action in a coordinated, strategic and commercially focused manner.
