Practice Areas
Mark specialises in funds work with an emphasis on advising private equity and investment funds and managers on a broad range of legal issues, including fund formation and structuring, acquisitions and disposals, regulatory and governance matters, restructuring and the winding up and termination of funds.
In addition to his funds practice, Mark also advises in relation to all aspects of corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets, the formation and operations of special purpose investment vehicles, including LLCs and segregated portfolio companies, and public and private offerings of debt and equity involving Cayman Islands and BVI structures.
Mark joined Walkers in September 2013 and is a member of our Global Corporate & Investment Funds Group.
Career
Prior to joining Walkers, Mark worked for another leading offshore firm in Hong Kong and prior to that he acted as a funds and corporate law specialist in a law firm in the Cayman Islands and for a global law firm in Ireland as well as in the London corporate teams of Bird & Bird and CMS Cameron McKenna.
