Marius Juonys is a partner and head of Competition practice group, who solely dedicated to competition-related matters, with 20 years of experience in this area. He and his team were involved probably in all major competition cases over the past 10 – 15 years. On a number of occasions, he was also invited by public authorities as a competition expert in various working groups entrusted with the task of preparing legislative proposals. Unsurprisingly, Marius Juonys is recognized as one of the most experienced practitioners while he and his colleagues are the only team of practitioners in Lithuania for many years ranked as tier No. 1 by all major legal directories (Chambers Europe, Legal 500 EMEA ). Meanwhile specialized edition „Global Competition Review“ ranks the Ellex competition team as the sole „Elite“ practice in Lithuania for many consecutive years.
Along with practicing competition law, Marius Juonys teaches competition law at Vilnius University.
