Dr. Ąžuolas Čekanavičius is a partner, patent attorney and head of the Intellectual Property, Information Technology, Advertising and Media Practice Group. He has more than 20 years of experience in advising and representing clients in complex copyright, trademark, advertising and media disputes. In recent years, he has focused on computer software protection, cloud services, cybersecurity and other IT legal issues, and is the head of the firm’s unique Ellex Digital project.
He is also a lecturer in civil and intellectual property law at Mykolas Romeris University and an author and co-author of scientific articles. He has actively participated in the drafting of laws in Lithuania: the Law on Public Information, the Law on Copyright and Related Rights.
