Marija Filipovska heads the CMS Macedonian office. She has more than 20 years of extensive experience in legal work in the Balkan region. She specializes in M&A, Corporate and Commercial law matters.
Marija Filipovska was involved in the biggest commercial projects in North Macedonia and in the Balkan region. She has extensive experience in providing legal advice and assistance to major international clients including legal advice on mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, buyouts, privatizations, and joint ventures.
She has offered advice in several project financings in North Macedonia as well as the privatization of some of the biggest banks in the region; furthermore, she has advised clients in large-scale commercial projects and transactions in North Macedonia and the Balkan region.
Marija has advised many renowned clients from different industry sectors including banking and finance, consumer products, life sciences, IT, technology etc. on various compliance matters.
Marija Filipovska has an LL.M. degree in European Business Law at Belgrade University in cooperation with Nancy University in France.
