Edmon Oude Elferink heads the Antitrust, Competition & Trade team in the Netherlands. He divides his professional time between Brussels and Amsterdam. His areas of expertise encompass competition law, State aid and foreign direct investment (FDI). He represents clients in proceedings before the European Commission, the ACM and the Dutch courts. Edmon's background includes serving as a référendaire (law clerk at the Court of Justice of the EU in Luxembourg).
Beyond his legal practice, Edmon holds several key positions within the legal community. He chairs the advisory committee on competition law of the Netherlands Bar (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten) and is a board member of the Dutch association for European law (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Europees Recht). Additionally, he is on the board of editors for the Dutch Journal of European Law (Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Europees Recht).
