Career
Marco Zinzani started practicing law in 2006, focusing on civil, commercial and banking law. He was admitted to the Bar in March 2010. He is a member of the Bar of Milan, Italy.
In 2012, he achieved a Ph.D. in European Union Law from Maastricht University (the Netherlands).
He joined Studio Legale Padovan in 2011 and he co-heads its Trade Compliance team.
Marco has taught EU Law at the Maastricht Faculty of Law, Maastricht Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and at the Scuola Superiore della Pubblica Amministrazione. He regularly speaks at professional and academic conferences and seminars on export controls and sanctions.
Since 2020, he has been a lecturer of the ‘Dual-Use Technologies’ module of the Master’s Degree in ‘Information Security and Strategic Information’ at ‘Sapienza University of Rome’. He is an adjunct professor teaching the Export Control and Compliance Officer Laboratory of the International Relations degree program at the University of Milan Statale.
