Marcia Issler Mandelbaum

Marcia has more than 20 years of experience advising domestic and foreign clients in various segments, having been part of CGM since the firm’s foundation. She has extensive experience in large- and mid-market M&A deals and advises multinationals investing in Brazil on corporate law and contractual matters. Marcia has been involved in some of the firm’s highest-profile M&A cases, while also assisting numerous clients with their day-to-day corporate work.

In addition, Marcia is co-head of CGM’s digital law, privacy and data protection team, with extensive experience in the technology and other industries, advising leading clients from the most diverse sectors on matters involving those fields of law. She also serves as Data Protection Officer (DPO) to major players in their respective markets.

Beyond her legal practice, Marcia is appointed as CGM’s DPO, playing a key role in the firm’s adaptation to the LGPD and the implementation of best practices in our data processing activities.
