Marcela Ánimas

Marcela Ánimas is a partner at Nader Hayaux Goebel and a highly regarded environmental and water resources lawyer with more than 25 years of experience. She advises domestic and international clients on environmental, climate change and natural resources matters, with a particular focus on the environmental aspects of complex M&A transactions, real estate developments, project finance and infrastructure projects. She is also a member of the firm's Transition to Net Zero Task Force, advising companies on the implementation of ESG strategies and sustainable business practices.

Marcela has extensive experience assisting clients with environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, environmental due diligence, contaminated sites, water resources, climate change, circular economy and sustainability matters. She also advises on legislative initiatives and public policy affecting environmental and natural resources regulation in Mexico.
