Experience
Maciej Antoniak is an advocate, heading projects & infrastructure practice at Warsaw office of DWF. Maciej is also a member of ICE (infrastructure, construction and energy) global group at DWF.
Maciej provides legal advice to entities involved in greenfield and brownfield investments including hard and social infrastructure. He is experienced in advising on projects and transactions carried out in all key infrastructure sectors, including oil&gas, energy, seaports, motorways, railways, mass transportation, waste management, IT, water and sewage, as well as nuclear energy. He provides advice on all types of investments into infrastructure assets, including acquisition, construction, development and revamp, public-private partnerships and concessions, construction works contracts, O&M contracts, public service contracts, technology transfer agreements, supply contracts, and off-take agreements, day-to-day operations of utility companies, public law and public procurement. Maciej also represents Clients in dispute resolution before common courts and arbitration tribunals concerning projects & infrastructure. He also guides Clients through negotiations of settlements and pre-trial negotiations.
Maciej also advises companies in criminal compliance area and proceedings related to business crimes. His experience and practice include in particular advising companies and organisations on the preparation of internal regulations, rules of procedure and compliance procedures. He also specialises in developing strategies in the field of enterprise management in crisis situations.
For several years he has been recommended by Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500. Maciej is also a lecturer at the Warsaw School of Economics.
