Lynne Liberato has handled some of the most significant appeals and legal issues in Texas and federal jurisprudence, including presenting oral argument to the U.S. Supreme Court. Board certified in civil appellate law, Liberato leads appellate and trial teams in multi-million dollar cases and in pursuing cutting-edge legal issues. The Texas Association of Board Certified Trial & Appellate Lawyers voted her to receive the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award and Texas Bar Foundation awarded her its 2019 Outstanding Lawyer Award. A prolific speaker and writer, she co-authors “Summary Judgments in Texas,” one of the 10 most-cited law review articles by appellate courts nationwide. Liberato was elected president of the State Bar of Texas and first woman president of the Houston Bar Association.
