Experience
Luis Valda is Counsel at Moreno Baldivieso, where he leads the firm’s national tax practice. With a robust 15-year career in taxation, Luis has held significant roles at the Vice Ministry of Tax Policy and the General Authority of Tax Appeals. His experience also includes leading specialized tax teams at renowned law firms.
He advises clients on the structuring of complex local and international transactions, as well as on audit and appeal processes. Additionally, he offers consulting services to family groups in wealth planning. He teaches international taxation in the Master’s program in Tax Law at UASB and participates in various national Master’s programs and diplomas in taxation.
Luis is an active participant in both local and international tax forums and represents the Young IFA Network in the Bolivian chapter of the International Fiscal Association.
