Luis Parada leads the DLA Piper Labor & Employment practice group in Chile and is also a Regional Co-Leader in the US-LatAm Employment Practice Group.
Luis has extended and recognized experience advising local and foreign clients in matters such as adaptation of gig economy services to regional standards, compensation and benefits for senior executives, stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs) and other incentive plans, collective bargaining, high complexity labor litigation and internal investigations (i.e. antiunion practices, harassment and discrimination, impairment of human rights), global mobility, handbooks and policies, termination of highly ranked officers and reductions in force, labor due diligence processes, board director and manager training sessions, among other matters.
He also regularly advises clients about workforce restructuring and outsourcing, proprietary information and assignment of invention agreements, implementing employment restrictive covenants and tax contingencies of labor matters.
