Luigi is a Director of PwC Legal in Italy and Head of the Italian Antitrust practice.
His practice focuses on advising Italian and international clients from a wide range of industries on every major area of antitrust and competition law - including complex multi-jurisdictional mergers and joint ventures, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance and restrictive practices cases, as well as compliance audits, unfair commercial practices, state aid, EU foreign subsidies and direct investment matters.
He is author of several publications and speaker at conferences and seminars and has been recognised by Chambers for 5 years in a row for his Competition/European Law practice – in addition to being ranked by Who’s Who Legal (now Lexology Index) and the Global Competition Review.
Luigi joined PwC Legal in January 2023 as Head of the firm’s Antitrust team after a 15+ year career at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP (both in Milan and Brussels) and Hogan Lovells (Milan).
He holds a LL.M. degree from U.C. Berkeley –Boalt Hall School of Law where he conducted research on antitrust and intellectual property related matters.
