Alessandro Catona

Alessandro Catona is Chief Executive Officer of PwC Tax and leads the Financial Services team.

He has extensive experience in the taxation of banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies, covering both general tax matters and the tax treatment of financial products. He has been involved in landmark projects related to the implementation of new tax regimes and has advised leading banking groups on some of the most significant formation, reorganisation, and M&A transactions in recent years.

Alessandro is a Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor.

He holds a degree in Business Administration and Corporate Law from Bocconi University in Milan.
