Lindsay Rowell

Lindsay specializes in commercial litigation and arbitration with a focus on construction, infrastructure, and energy disputes. She has significant experience in trials and appeals and regularly acts for clients in domestic and international commercial arbitrations. Lindsay has appeared before the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, and in regulatory proceedings including before the Alberta Energy Regulator and the Alberta Securities Commission. She has also acted for clients in matters before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Lindsay is a Director and the Alberta Chapter Chair of the Canada Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). She is also a member of the Y-ADR Steering Committee of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR).

Lindsay is an instructor for the Advocacy Program at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law. At Blakes, Lindsay is co-chair of the Calgary Student Committee.
