Lawrence J Bracken II

Larry Bracken represents clients in federal and state courts throughout the United States in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, particularly in insurance coverage cases and complex contract disputes. For 38 years, Larry has negotiated, arbitrated and litigated insurance coverage matters on behalf of policyholders, involving general and excess liability, D&O liability, E&O, technology E&O, property, builders risk, business interruption and time element, cybersecurity, pollution liability, inland marine, trade credit, and other types of insurance coverage. His clients include providers and purchasers of technology products and services, banks and commercial lenders, other businesses in the financial services sector, retailers, logistics and transportation companies, petroleum refinery and terminal operators, oil and gas pipeline companies, electric utilities, independent system operators, and local governments. As part of his insurance practice, Larry counsels clients regarding insurance claims evaluation and strategy, policy placement and manuscripting issues, and recovery of insurance proceeds under third parties' insurance policies. He also assists the firm’s transactional attorneys in performing insurance and litigation due diligence for corporate mergers and acquisitions. Larry has worked for many years with the firm’s bankruptcy team lawyers to advise clients about insurance aspects of bankruptcy and creditors rights matters.
